    Really bad. I’ve dealt with a lot of removalists over the years and I have never come across such bad slow unprofessional guys. We had Marvin and his friend. At the pick up address they arrived not energised or efficient. We were told get the 7am slot for energetic strong guys. Wrong. We were already off to a slow start. Ended up getting 3 members of the household to move ALL miscellaneous household items (Boxes, linen, plants etc etc) to the driveway outside of the truck to try to hurry them up. They were working at snails pace and it seemed deliberate. Marvin himself I would go so far to say seemed under some sort of sedated mode. I have never seen a more sluggish docile removalist in my life. He had boots on not even done up properly – super sloppy and loose/ zips totally unzipped to the bottom at sole level – Would explain why he was dragging his feet and couldn’t walk properly – very unprofessional not to mention WHS hazard for this type of industry. Anyway moving on, we had 2 stops before arrival address. Both locations were also surprised with these guys, with words on the side to me of the effect of “what’s wrong with them? Why are they are so slow?” At the second address we picked up my fridge – in perfect condition- they put the fridge in the truck but did not secure it with ropes- wait for the end of this review but I’m sure you can imagine already what the ending is going to be. Moving on again, we drive to delivery address. I arrive before them. It takes them 20 minutes to arrive after me (max 10 mins would be acceptable but come on guys). There was no traffic on the road. And conveniently they had a big bag of maccas in between them in the truck. Then it takes them 20 mins to move 1 chest of drawers (small ikea so not too heavy) while I move my entire car full of bathroom, kitchen, misc boxes. Mind you, we are on level 4 but still, this is their job not mine. Then they tell me they can’t move the fridge with the dolley trolley and require 2 more guys – “call your boyfriend and tell him to bring a mate please – we need 4 men to lift the fridge”. My partner came and with much resistance, including an Oscar winning moment of Marvin stopping to say he had hurt his back, they finally got the fridge up. We told them to forget everything else. We would do the rest. Enough was enough. Worst part of all they damaged my fridge – 4 big dents. Of course they denied this and the company was not inclined to compensate based on their workers say so. I was really disappointed with this. The last move I did with all the same stuff PLUS more (couch and extremely heavy dining table) I was moved in under 2.5hrs and I didn’t have to lift a finger. No damage to anything. This time, I was moved in 3.5 hours but such to say that I was doing 70% of their job. Let’s just say if they are removalists, anyone is a removalist. I would suggest you avoid these guys if you want a FAST PROFESSIONAL job done. Marvin was anything but that. Lazy, unwilling and far from hard working. I will not be using these guys again.
