   Well today I hadn’t received my mail by 4pm(usually have it by 9am) so I called the post office, they ensured me that since it was out for delivery that it WOULD be delivered today no matter what. That was a lie ,they were too lazy to come by here at all.

   Just ordered something from Michigan Sunday and the postal service still takes this to Warrendale knowing it’s closed but, what really funny is the package is to be delivered near Youngstown ohio.. ummm no wonder the postal service lose money.

   At the local ends of my move from Chicago to LA, in particular at the Chicago end, PODS was absolutely terrible. I consider it a small miracle my household goods made the 2000 mile journey and to the correct destination. Perhaps this is the part they do well. The amount of extra stress I had to endure at the start of the process was unreal and entirely the fault of PODS. Their local storage centers seem to operate independent of central dispatch, do as they please, and seem to suffer no ramifications if they fail to do their job. They completely missed my scheduled pickup date and were so many days late actually picking it up, they had to reschedule the cross country transit. Did I ever receive and explanation for this collossal screw up? No I did not. It sounded like the rep at the storage center in Bensonville, IL felt he owed no explanation to anyone, not even the PODS reps who were reaching out to him. In the midst of this PODS also charged back the 10% veteran discount they offered me to my credit card. It took several phone calls and then several business days to get that sorted out. Their internal communication between dispatch, local storage centers, and City Service seems almost non existent. So, every single issue (and I had multiple) required a phone call to the main customer service number (which is the lowest level of service) only to then be escalated from one person to the next through their hierarchy (if it can be called that) or to City Service where I would have to re-explain the situation from scratch each time. If PODS service is intentionally designed to work this way, it’s diabolical. It seems too haphazard and inefficient to be intentional though. PODS couldn’t pay me to use their service again and I should be reimbursed for evey part of my move except for the actual cross country transit. I had so little faith in them by the end, I hired movers to pick up my goods from the PODS storage facility instead of scheduling delivery of my container.

   i ordered a christmas gift for my girlfriend & it still hasn’t been delivered (dec 19)!! placed my order right after thanksgiving & still nothing, this company should be shut down since so many people have not gotten their packages!!

   Ever since I moved to my new apt I have had to come up here to get my mail. And most of the Time they claim I have now mail, until last time when I yelled at them and they magically found my mail I had so many bills from December it was ridiculous I wish my apt would fix the mail box out here already.
