    BEWARE!! Do not use My Moovers.
    They con you by underquote the job and then overcharge using extra time needed as an excuse.
    I was quoted a fixed price and then charged for an extra hour because they the 2 movers didn’t care if they get the job done in time, they only get paid per job not by the hour. After the job was completed I was asked to sign on the his phone without showing the fixed price and then the invoice was emailed to me straight after with the extra charges taken straight out of my credit card instantly. If I knew there was extra time charged then I wouldn’t of signed it. Before leaving he told me to ring the company and ask for a refund for the difference. Just as I expected I have tried calling through repeatedly and they refused to refund the extra time saying the job took longer than expected.
    The 2 movers were lazy, had lack of experience, no urgency to have the job done in time or respect for people’s schedule.
    They called at 1:15pm saying they were going to show up in 15 mins and then finally arrived at 2:10pm.
    I live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment so do not have much furniture. To speed up the move I instructed them to only move the big items, the rest I can move myself in my own car.
    It took them 2 hours to load up the truck and could of taken longer if I didn’t give them a hand or asked them repeatedly to walk faster.
    One them was carrying small items one at time instead of using a trolley to move things more efficiently and the other guy was constantly talking on the phone.
    There was lack of equipment and protective covers used to move the bigger furniture so they ending up with scratches and stains.
    At the drop off address I told them that I only had the lift booked at a certain time so we can get things done faster but they didn’t care.
    By the time we arrived at the 2nd address which is only 5 minutes away, the lift booking time had already expired so we had to share it with the tenants.
    The tenants were not happy that we were filling up the lifts with furniture and blocking the doors which was breeching safety violation.
    I amazes me how after I told them to hurry up it only took them 75 mins to unload compared to 135 mins to load up at the 1st address.
    The moving process shown by the 2 workers tells me that they have lack of training or they just don’t care about their job.
    When I called the company to make a complaint the just keeping transferring through to another line that never answers. It sounds like they only want to take your money and don’t want to deal with the complaints.
    For a Australian owned/run company it sounds like all the workers including the movers have a very strong Indian accent which may indicate overseas call centres/migrant workers.
    I have moved 7 times in the last 10 years and that was the most expensive and horrible experience.

    I received 1 of the 2 boxes I was supposed to get. I called allied express, got told no helpful information, then got yelled at for asking for more information, then got hung up on.

    The official website of the post office says it is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 PM
    I hurried back to get it. He told me that it was closed from 9 am to 5 PM. Have let me run to run past this period of time, I might as well go shopping with my classmates
