They don’t even deserve the 1 star. Called and arranged furniture delivery from Mildura to Broken Hill and agreed on price and everything. On the day nothing happened. Called and the guy had no recall of our conversation. Of course this stuffed me as the furniture was bought for a guest. Absolutely unreliable and unprofessional service
It’s usually alright here, but my latest experience with a staff member was awful. I would understand if I was being rude but her condescending tone was extremely unnecessary. She didn’t let me finish explaining the situation for her to understand before cutting me off – if she had actually taken a minute to hear what I had to say then she would have understood that the package was not in the building.
She kept answering my questions with, Well I’m NOT the post man and The post man is CLEARLY not here or, OBVIOUSLY that co-worker’s not in today. I never claimed for her to be the one responsible for the delivery so those snappy comments were uncalled for–I’m just genuinely worried about the location of this parcel and was trying to get as much information as I could so I can get back to customer service. Not sure if she’s aware that there are other ways you can professionally say I don’t know?
When it seemed like we weren’t getting anywhere, I asked, What do you suggest I do? she said, Nothing. She continued on about how because I didn’t buy anything that was supposed to be arriving soon that I do nothing because it’s not yours. I was genuinely confused and asked, If it’s not mine then why does it have my initials on it…? which just had her repeating the, I’M NOT THE POST MAN replies and so forth.
The weird thing about this whole thing is that there’s a sign they have up at the counter that says, We do not tolerate aggressive behaviour from customers etc etc. Not sure if they’re implying that it’s okay for staff to do this to customers who have been nothing but civil.
Another bonus point is that their phone line isn’t connected at all, although with customer service like that, I think it’s probably for the best.
