We hired Marigold Movers to do our move from from Franklin to a new home about 100 miles away. Our movers, Jerry/Luke/Grayson/Jeremy were absolutely fantastic to work with. Hard working, personable, careful, and knowledgeable. We *did* have some hiccups in the initial stages of the move – but what move doesn’t? What really matters is how the movers/company respond to issues, and in that area Marigold also excelled! They took care of any issues without me having to worry about them, and after a very long day of moving (over 12 hours, not counting their drive back to Columbia), they were still going strong! In addition to the usual moving items, they had to bring an extremely heavy and bulky piano down from the 2nd floor (that was a superhuman feat in and of itself!)
On top of the phenomenal moving team, communication with Joe in the office was quick and efficient. Oh, and they came in at a MUCH better price than another moving company that quoted us. Value + quality + professionalism. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I hope we don’t move again anytime soon, but when we do, Marigold is my first call!
They obviously have no commitment to customer service. Believe the other negative reviews!! I wish I had read them before choosing this store.
I showed up for my package after receiving a notification that it was ready for pick up at the location. They said it wasn’t there. The guy barely checked around and said I needed to call UPS. Why should I have to call?? Why can’t they?? I was there to pick up my phone! I had to wait until I got back to work. The UPS website was down so I called the store 30 minutes later and they said they have it. I asked how long it had been there and they didn’t know. No apology or anything.
I will NOT be returning to this store.
*i also went back and moved my two star to a one star review because of this horrible response. Blaming the customer is never good customer service. AND I did wait until I got a notification that my package was delivered BEFORE I showed up. That’s the whole reason I’m upset.
