We received the rate confirmation on the 11th. After several calls and emails we received the pick up and delivery address on the 14th.
On the 15th, we arrived at Amerigold 5 Access Road in Piscataway, NJ at 0715 for an 0800 appointment. They told us at Amerigold that according to the Appointment Pick-up number 487590 on our paperwork from TQL, we were at the wrong address. We weren’t able to reach anyone at TQL, so we went to 601 Kentile Road South Plainfield, NJ like they told us to do. After waiting about an hour, outside in the cold, because we had to park 3 blocks away; we get to the guard shack, they told us that the Appointment Pick-up number was for a refrigerated load going to Dalas, TX not the dry van load to Boone, IA we were to pick up.
Finally, we were able to reach TQL, they said to go back to 5 Access Road and they’d get in touch with them there, so we did. At 1115, we were able to back into a loading dock. It is 1151 and they haven’t started loading us.
TQL is refusing to give us extra money to pay for the extra time and hassle. They are saying that it is the shippers fault not theirs. TQL was responsible because they put the wrong appointment pick up number on our paperwork, not the shippers. Very dissatisfied with TQL!!

We ordered a pellet smoker and cover from Walmart’s website on 05/07/2020. We were supposed to receive the pellet smoker on 05/19/2020. After almost 2 weeks past the delivery date, we contacted Walmart to ask where our pellet smoker was (we had received the cover by this time). Walmart contacted Fed Ex in Oak Park, after being on hold for quite some time that Fed Ex lost our smoker. I’m sorry, but a 100+ pound smoker simply does not and cannot vanish into thin air. I’ll guarantee they either delivered it to the wrong address, or someone at this location stole it for themselves. So now we’ve got a specific cover, for a specific smoker, that is completely out of stock everywhere. Trust that someone out there is enjoying our smoker.
To find a comparable product, we had to spend an additional $100 so we can have a smoker that suits our needs. It is unacceptable that Fed Ex didn’t contact us themselves to notify us our package was lost. Never use this delivery service.
