    May I know about the rules of payment and receipt of parcels? I was sent a parcel from Syria to Kyrgyzstan. In Turkey, the agent told me that I had to pay a customs fee of $ 1950, while I asked if I should pay for something else, I was repeatedly assured that I did not need to pay more. However, after paying the bill, the company demanded to pay $ 4380 for the stamp certificate, otherwise my parcel would not be delivered. Although before that they said that I would not pay for anything else. Are the company’s actions legal in this case? And can I pay for it immediately at the time of parcel delivery?

    Horrible!!! The staff is rude, unintelligent and are completely unwilling to assist with even a simple problem. AVOID THIS POST OFFICE!!! Pleasant Valley and Poughkeepsie are much friendlier, willing to help and have much more knowledge about post office operations and shipping procedures.

    I was supposed to have a delivery of gifts Christmas Eve, and here it is 12/29 and still no package. My friend sent this in plenty of time to get here. Nobody knikn anything!! I’m disgusted!

    I moved from Blairsville GA to the Sacramento area in November 2014 and used 1-800-PACK-RAT to move my personal belongings. What a great service! I told them what day I wanted them to deliver the empty container to me and what day I wanted them to come back and pick it up. On each of the days the driver called me in the morning to tell me what time he expected to arrive (I lived about 2 hours away, up in the mountains). Then he also called me again about 45 minutes before arriving. I didn’t need my belongings delivered right away after I got to CA, so they were able to give me an additional discount for accepting a 30 day delivery instead of their normal 10 day delivery. I actually ended up storing the container in their storage facility for about 2 months. When I found a place to live, I called them up and made arrangements for the container to be delivered to my new home in 2 days! Again, the driver called me the morning of the delivery to let me know when he would arrive and he arrived on time. All of my belongings were in good condition. I got the container unloaded in a couple of days and then they came back and picked it up. No hassles, no unexpected added charges, no surprises. The whole process just worked the way it was supposed to. If I ever have to move long distance again (God forbid) I will definitely call 1-800-PACK-RAT again.
