I lost my phone. Will you be able to track it by IMEI number?
So far I am very unimpressed by Select Express. I paid a to have them assemble a portable basketball hoop. The first appointment time window was between 11am and 2pm. They arrived at 3pm. Unfortunately they were not able to assemble it due to missing parts, so I had to reschedule. The second appointment window was from 1pm to 4pm. I called at 4:30 to ask why they hadn’t arrived and was told they would be there no later than 6pm. I called just after 6pm because they still had not arrived and was told they should arrive around 7pm. At this point I asked to reschedule because the technicians at the first appointment said it could take a couple of hours to assemble the hoop and I really wanted to just move on with dinner, bath time, and putting my child to bed. BIG mistake. My new appointment window is between 5pm and 8pm. When I pointed out that this was a ridiculously late time window considering the technicians have been late twice and that the assembly could take a couple of hours, I was told that this was the only time they would be in my area. Definitely regretting paying for Select Express to assemble the hoop. I would have been better off trying to assemble it myself.
Called this store in advance to verify that a service offered by my bank could be accomplished. The woman I spoke with on the phone told me that sometimes the machine didn’t work properly and offered to check it before I came over. As she was checking, in the background I could hear someone speaking to her and she said Okay, I love you, good bye. I thought that was a little unprofessional but none of my business. She returned her attention to the phone and told me the machine was working properly.
I arrived at the store at the end of my work day. There were two tellers, both busy, a man waiting and I was next in line. There were also a couple of young (4 or 5 year old) children behind the counter demanding attention and the clerk kept breaking off what she was doing with her customer to attend the child.
As I waited, the store started to get busy. Lots of people filing in, the kids running back and forth behind the counter and I could tell the clerks were getting flustered. When my turn came, I went to the counter and told the woman what I was after. Without even looking at her computer or anything else she said, Yeah, but that machine doesn’t work.
I told her I had called and confirmed before coming over. Again without taking her eyes off of me she said, It’s not working. It quit working an hour ago I asked her if she could check since it’d been an hour and she looked me straight in the eye and said It’s still not working, sorry… then she looked past me, over my shoulder and said Next!
I cannot believe the astounding rudeness, unprofessional atmosphere and surly service at this place.
I called my bank and explained to them what happened. They were very displeased and took my complete statement to include a description of the person who helped me. Apparently the bank has a contract with UPS and there are certain terms of that contract that must be filled. Fascinating.
Marco and Brian showed up to move me in the afternoon. They were courteous, fast, focused, detailed and clean.
Job well done! I move every year, and this was by far the easiest move.
