    The people who work at the Calgary terminal are real pieces of work!
    So, I ordered the same thing from Walmart.ca that I do every couple of months, and it simply was never delivered, and of course it turned out to be Loomis. A few days earlier, one of their female staff even called me to verify my address (which she already had correct and so did Walmart since they’d already successfully sent me other parts of my order through Canada Post! Once she was done getting my address again, the woman said that my parcels would be delivered tomorrow (would have been Saturday). Well, they don’t seem to even work on weekends, and come today (Monday), although their tracking site still says they have it sitting at their terminal, when I called them, the stereotypical hurr-dee-durr dudebro that answered, who clearly cares about nothing whatsoever, and is happy in his ignorance and lack of responsibility for other people’s property, told me Walmart told us to return it. Incredulous, I called Walmart back, however, and they know nothing about this but are investigating (by then it will be even longer for items I really needed on time). The money was taken from my account and other items in the order were delivered successfully (I wondered at first if something went wrong with my payment? But there was no problem of course). This Calgary Loomis terminal has delivered the same packages to me many times before, dumping them on the porch, and has all of the correct information (I’ve lived here for years AND again, the person who called verified that the info they had was already correct!). I work from a home office next to front door all day until late evening, starting at about 5 AM. Besides, they usually just ditch parcels on people’s porches in full view of the street anyway without knocking). The squid on the phone gave me the email address of the person he says told him to return it declaring that no one here is lying, ma’am and yet clearly someone is, because funny that as of Friday afternoon, before the weekend, they had it then and phoned me to ask my address AND promised to finally deliver it. I’m pretty sure they just didn’t feel like delivering it because it is heavy and awkward (well not that bad but it would be for someone super lazy and apathetic about the quality or reputation of their company), then pretending to Walmart that they couldn’t deliver so that would have triggered Walmart emailing to tell them to send it back. I’d bet the whole order on this. What a class C business with arrogant, lazy staff who clearly are abusing their position with other people’s money and property. I called Loomis’ main line and their online chat AND several of their emails and nobody there has a clue where my package is either nor why it was returned to Walmart, nor why it still says it is at the terminal in Calgary still, nor why it says bad address when they had the correct one all along and I additionally verified it over the phone with them when they said they already had the order and were delivering it tomorrow. Sadly, Walmart hasn’t yet figured out that the courier of Durr is making me, and no doubt many, many other people since I’m a drop in the pond I’m sure with this experience, are uncomfortable ordering now from any company that still uses Loomis. Their reviews online all across Canada, going years back, are all a bunch of I wish I could rate lower than this! rages where people’s important purchases and money mysteriously vanished. The Calgary one has the worst rating on here that I’ve seen. They could have simply fixed the problem by uh, delivering my items that they already had in their fool terminal, but are truly a bunch of irresponsible incompetents. The level of incompetence is a morbidly beautiful rarity that makes you want to dissect it (bloated leech that it is) and find out how?. Like how is it possible this business even exists at all? Especially with the thieves they are so obviously employing .
