The driver from Amex Card didn’t bother to actually deliver my package properly. I live in an apartment building and they didn’t even step foot out of their car. They didn’t leave a slip. I got a call though saying I had to walk two hours to the other side of town to pick up the package that had express shipping paid for on it.
I used to be a professional mover for two years. I hired labor for my load from Belle Hops and the experience was so poor that I was hesitant to risk another labor only company for my unload. I did however, and these guys (Amex Card) took care of my stuff as I once did and would’ve myself. They showed professionalism and experience when moving my furniture, including six especially heavy pieces up 2 flights of stairs. The time in which they performed the work was also on par for the highest level of expectation I could’ve had from my previous experience working in this industry. My one critique would be that they don’t exactly have a secretary/scheduler (the owner does it all himself and is one of the laborers on staff). I can see where this could cause communication and tardiness problems, especially when they go over time on another job, which can be easily understood as they do mostly by the hour jobs. Despite this, I still give them 5 stars and will definitely use this company again.
I’ve been working with Craig and his team at Amex Card for years. As far as skills moving top 1%. As far as customer service top 1/10th of 1%.
Anyone who wants movers that know what the heck they are doing, and are extra cool doing it. These guys got it going on in spades.
By the way, I’m in the same business. For me to leave a review of a competitor of this caliber, you know they are exceptional.
