DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! It is the most sorry excuse for a UPS store (or any service provider) that you will find. I’m not simply an angry customer spouting because I did not have my way. I’m writing this because I am truly shocked at the lack of humanity at this place. The store was on the list of Amazon return centers, and I live within a half mile, so I decided to take my Amazon return there. Everything was packed and labeled, but I needed a piece of tape to properly seal the box. The store told me they would have to charge me for a piece of tape! This is without exaggeration. The individual who demanded I pay, or I can go return it elsewhere was not just an employee having a bad day, it was the owner. He did not blink, he did not say that he would give me a piece of tape this time but next time he’ll have to charge for a piece of tape., he brazingly and condescendingly stated that he is providing a service (and apparently he sees an opportunity to charge unsuspecting customers who were referred by Amazon). Again, I have to emphasize that the service I was there for was to return a package with the Amazon provided return label specific to that store. I am not sure if he does the same for UPS shipments, and charges UPS customers who need a piece of tape $5? Once he scanned the package, he suspiciously asked me if I wanted to take a picture of the package before I left. I am suspicious because that is an odd question. Is that a veiled threat that something may happen to my package? I would not put that past him. I have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years, and I am embarrassed to have this type of greed here. This is the person who will gouge in times of emergency, and would not think twice about charging $20 for a glass of water. If he does not want to be an Amazon return center, then he should stop being that. Again, this review is meant to admonish others what they can expect from this particular facility… It truly is an example of utter greed end of lack of humanity.
