   On January 23rd, 2020 I sent a 3.7 kg package for 18 € postage from Stolberg near Aachen to the address of a friend on the island of Ithaka in GR, shipment number: CY4502 1309 7DE.
   Research by my friend on February 25th, 2020 showed that the shipment had arrived on Ithaca several days earlier, but could not be delivered because the address was illegible. Now the parcel is on its way back via Athens to Germany. On the same day I got from Germany on the phone no. 0228 4333112 complained about the shipment.
   On February 26th, it was confirmed that the parcel was on its way back to Ithaka, where it did not reach the addressee this time either! Further research at the beginning of March showed that the package was now on its way to Germany again.
   On 3/13/20 the postman handed the package over to me, the sender, for a processing fee of 10 €.
   It turned out that a sticker from “Speedex” had completely covered the address! When my friend in Greece asked her, she was told that these stickers were now common, that the address had to be written in several places on the sides of a parcel! Can someone please explain the purpose of such a regulation to me ???
   This odyssey cost me and my girlfriend (who has since learned a number of such problems with Speedex) an enormous amount of time, phone calls, nerves and money, not to mention the disappointment with the still unavailable content.
   For better or worse I’ll have to repeat the experiment: € 18 first postage € 10 processing fee € 18 2nd postage = € 46
   Open ended, thanks to Speedex!
