LandAir was handling the last mile delivery of a large item I had ordered. They called me on a Tuesday, said my item was going to be delivered the following day, and gave me a 1-5 time window. I took the following day off from work to wait for the delivery. 1PM came around and I figured I would give them a call to see if they had a better of idea of when delivery was happening. The same person I spoke to the day before said Oh, your delivery isn’t going out after all, due to weather, sorry. The weather was a minor snow storm everyone was well aware of. Had I not called, I would have been waiting all afternoon for a delivery that was never going to happen. Are you kidding me?
I’m fine with weather delays, or delays of any type. JUST CALL YOUR CUSTOMER TO TELL THEM WHAT IS GOING ON. As a result of LandAir’s poor customer service I lost two days of work, one of those for absolutely nothing.
The only reason these guys get two stars is because the driver who showed up was very friendly, and did a great job unloading the 400LB box. Thanks Matt!
Come on LandAir, give you customers some semblance of customer service.
Well this was a bad experience. My package was so suppose to be delivered today by 8pm. It is now 8:34pm and nothing has come. This took me by surprise because Amazon is usually on point with delivering my packages on time. So when I went to track my package through Amazon, it said it was shipped through Ontrac.
I have never heard of this shipping company in my life and now I’m glad I am aware of it so that I never use it again. All the reviews are daunting and make me feel anxious about the safety of my package. I can say that my package has NOT arrived on time and I can only hope it will be here tomorrow. Plus, when I put in the tracking number, it said it’s been sitting at the main facility in my area since 5am this morning. So why it has not been delivered is beyond me.
Be wary if you are shipping and Ontrac is the carrier. It’s probably better to just request expediated shipping by UPS, USPS, or FedEx. At least these bigger companies take their deliveries more seriously.
Update (day after expected delivery date): still no package. Tracking says it’s still sitting at local facility since 11:00an this morning. This is frustrating.
