Early last year I contacted Silver Star Moving in Florida for a move from CA to SC for June 2019. This was my first time using a moving company and the experience has been horrible. I didn’t know they were contractors until Executive Moving and Storage showed up a day late and after the time frame. Two of the three guys were high, literally reeking of marijuana. The lead guy immediately looked at my items and started a new invoice saying my items would take up more space in the truck. My biggest items were my queen mattress, box spring, head/foot board. No couch, fridge, stove, washer/dryer. The new invoice at least $1000 more than the original one. I was charged $800 for packing and shipping materials for 3 boxes and shrink wrap for the few items that I didn’t know needed to be in a box like a small plastic step stool, card table. Then I was charged even more for the move itself. By this time I had already paid a deposit to Silver Star Moving and it was too late to find another company and I had to move. So I signed the paperwork. I began contacting Silver Star Moving about the issue. Weeks later, still no change in the charges. Silver Star Moving repeatedly told me they were working on it and were waiting for the paperwork from Executive Moving and Storage. That paperwork never showed up. My belongings were supposed to arrive within 7-10 days of June 16th. They didn’t. I had to constantly call Executive Moving and Storage to find out what was going on. I was repeatedly told that my items were being loaded then it would be the truck broke down. Back and forth with the same excuses. It wasn’t until the beginning of August that my items finally came to SC. During this time I was constantly contacting both Silver Star Moving and Executive Moving and Storage about the added charges. Silver Star Moving was no help and Executive Moving and Storage decided to take off a little (literally a little) after the manager Tiffany herself said the paperwork didn’t look right. So when the driver finally arrived, I wasn’t expecting to pay the amount which was double what the final cost of $534.50 was supposed to be. The driver was then supposed to put my belongings in a storage within 15 miles of my home. Instead he took them to a storage in NJ. I did not find out where my belongings were until 2 days later and was told by Ashley that the fee was $250/month plus a redelivery fee of $350. When I asked why I wasn’t notified of where my belongings were and the cost, Ashley stated, We don’t have to tell the customer anything. Now I had to come up with money for storage, a redelivery fee plus the amount they still wanted to complete the move since they refused to reduce the charges. I JUST MOVED TO A NEW PLACE, STARTING FROM SCRATCH. WHERE WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET THE EXTRA MONEY FROM?!? I almost always got into a yelling match with Ashley via phone. I emailed her for info but she would not respond after the first few emails. It wasn’t until the end of October 2019 that I was given a price of $1875 that I would have to pay for storage then my things would be redelivered for $350 more. 1: I was told $250/month by Ashley but charged $375/month 2: they had a payment by mid November 3: same old excuses about delivery this time it was We’re trying to get in touch with the driver (Isaac), the driver is out of the country right now and he has your information since the storage was put in his name. Something I wasn’t aware of since the whole time Executive Moving and Storage made it seem as if they had their own company storage facility. This went on for the remainder of November and all of December. We’re trying to find another carrier, etc. I did not get my items until January 16, 2020. I had broken dishes, brand new roaster in it’s box, dented and the paint scratched up, my box spring looked as if it had been dragged across the ground on all four corners. Boxes obviously opened up, contents askew. Other items damaged. WORSE MOVING COMPANY EVER!!!

This is the most unhelpful post office in history. The lady in the counter was rude and treated me like I did not exist. I needed help sending a package and was told to fill out a customs sheet. Filled the customs sheet and went back in line. Then the lady tells me that the customs sheet, the to address and my address All gotta fit on one side.
That is when I just had to walk out. Do not send packages from this post office. Go to Kulpsville post office instead.
