Approached for household shifting service. Extremely satisfied with the timely response and assistance. The crew was highly professional, we could shift entire items within two hours and they were able to unload in an hour time. The staff were well mannered and trained to do things hassle-free.
    Decent value.
    Highly recommended.

STOP…if you are considering using these folks (2 Burley Men) too do a long haul, consider this:
We hauled from Vancouver Island to the Interior in November. They arrived 3 1/2 hours late with no phone call, we had to call the owner to find them. Apparently their truck broke down. So we missed the good ferry connections, 5:00 traffic in Vancouver with a major accident. Apparently they broke down again, somewhere near Abbotsford….needless to say truck not a current model. So we continued onwards. They did arrive the following morning on time. We unloaded over the next three hours, no problems other than their box leaks so somethings were wet. Not a huge problem. Tipped them and off they went. We were happy. Over the next two weeks we unpacked, we started to get a feeling that things were missing but continued. We finally after opening every box “things were missing”. Some dumb things and some expensive things. I contacted the owner and within minutes he got very defensive. After being in business for over 40 years I tried to be calm and just explain the situation. He would have nothing of it. He finally asked what I paid for the move and then said “well that’s half the price of a regular move” so I kinda got what you paid for. Well that didn’t go over well….obviously. He said he would check into this and within a couple of hours the driver phoned. I was impressed with this but still did not bring my goods back. What I would like to think what happened with our goods that they did not lock the truck and between them leaving the Island, breaking down, the motel and arriving at our destination someone else ripped them off being they broke down and probably went for dinner etc. They did not leave the island locking the doors because we were in such a hurry to get to the ferry and when they arrived at our new house the doors where unlocked as I helped to opened the unlocked back door. While they were inexperienced with long haul, neither had done one and the rush of getting off the island I hope that they just neglected to lock the truck instead of the alternative because they were good at what they did. I was also inexperienced with hiring a moving company, 1st time in 66 years, I would suggest to lock their doors with your lock and have some written contract at the beginning, also ask about loss and insurance. Now that we have checked around there is lots of questionable moving companies out there with some not even delivery your goods at all, so, definitely “its buyers beware”. Just because they have lots of billboards around does not make them reputable. The one star was unvoidable to post so atleast they got most of my goods to their destinations.

I actually really like all the staff here and often think they deserve a break. Once you understand self service you can bypass the queue and its pretty simple to use.
I have posted here on a regular basis for the past six months and had no problems.
my only question is why do the staff have to finish the transaction and place the stamps? Surely it would free up time for everyone if we could put on the stamps / push through the drop off ourselves?
