    This branch is a disgrace, the most poorly-run outlet of the USPS that I have yet encountered. Slightly entertaining to visit in a how will they screw it up this time? kind of way, however.

    Everything started off great. We met with the owner. He was professional friendly and fair.
    Our move was a little complicated because we had items going to three locations; storage, our rental and our second home.
    I was extremely well organized and labeled everything with sticky notes. On entering my kitchen I noticed that the notes were completely ignored. Then the boxes were labeled beach (2nd home) / rental. So they mixed the items. I ended up having to unpack and repack almost every box. The leader of the group actually argued with me.
    My clothes were shoved into wardrobe boxes to the point where everything needed to be ironed. This was a very painful experience.
    We actually had a jar of quarters that were stolen as well as jewelry. In the end they did not return my texts until I finally received an answer and they told me it was past the deadline for a claim. Many things were broken, some unimportant or just inconvenient, but they did break a Ralph Lauren lamp. Moving is stressful enough but then to encounter this kind of situation made it much worse. I do want to add that we were compensated for some of our initial losses.

    A large shipment I sent to France was returned because this UPS Store doesn’t know UPS’s policies. The man admitted he was not going to help me when I showed up to mail two large packages. He would just scan them in. If he was interested or had some knowledge of his own business, he would have pointed out that I need 3 copies of a commercial invoice attached to the outside of the packages. You’d expect someone at a UPS Store to know about UPS, but sadly they don’t. I almost lost an important customer and wasted a week getting this shipment back and another week preparing it to be resent. What a waste of time going to the UPS Store.
