   I have over 20 years of experience working in the moving industry, so I know a little about moving. I used PODS on my recent move because I wanted to take my time sorting and loading non essentials at my origin and then take my time unloading those things at my new house once the major move with movers was complete. It made a big difference in the stress level of my move. The drivers were excellent, and I always received great communication by phone and email from the drivers as well as the office staff. I highly recommend PODS.

   Rony and his team were fantastic! They moved my 1-bedroom apartment efficiently and professionally. I was very happy with their service. Additionally, Eli, who helped me book the move, was fantastic to work with. He was extremely responsive to my communication and answered all of my questions leading up to the move in a professional and timely manner. Thank you all for a very positive experience!

   Very unhappy with my move. I had a quote from another company who had come out and inventoried my items and were a little on the high side. So I contacted Microship via a referral from a great moving company I’d used in the past who didn’t have availability. Rob and I went through all the items and he quoted me a price about $1200 less than the first company; however, after coming to my house, he upped that somewhat but also said he would weigh the truck after loading and let me know for sure. Never did. He also name-dropped how many famous people he’d moved, and wanted to charge me 5x what packing materials actually cost for my TV and some assorted artwork (his price for a large screen box $100; home depot – $19) – none of these items had been left out during our phone conversation, and I even said I’d need help packing these things.
   The gentleman who arrived with my shipment was the best. He started unloading by himself and said he had a couple of local people on their way. They never showed, calling him about an hour into it to say they were tired. I moved to AZ and it was 100, and this poor guy was sweating like crazy. I did what I could to help, fearful this man would overheat. My screen door was damaged when he tried to, alone, get my couch inside. I dropped a box on my foot in the process which wound up costing me about $500 in x-rays and dr visits, not to mention setting me back 3-4 weeks in my training season. My coffee table, headboard and parts of my dresser were damaged, plus my bedframe, and a few things were missing. My super moving guy took pictures of it all and said he would give it to the admin team.
   After a couple of days, I followed up with them via email. Mary replied that everyone was out of the office but she would follow up. A few days later I had to follow up again, only to be told my mover guy was still out on delivery (apparently, calling/texting/emailing pictures hasn’t occurred to them in the year 2015). I’ve sent 6 messages to them since, none of which have been returned.
   I do not recommend this company.

   Easy, no stress, no hidden fees moving. I knew an estimate of what I would be paying and since they finished an hour early, it was on the cheaper end of my estimate. The movers were great and worked quickly and carefully. I would definitely use them again!
