First off, we have used these guys for several moves and over ten years and have had no problems with them in the past. That said, our most recent move was so bad we will never use them again. The same items that were moved a year and a half ago with two movers and took one trip, now took four guys eight and a half hours, two trips and they still left half a garage full of items for us to do ourselves (see image). This of course cost more than twice the amount we have ever experienced.
The real problem however, is the damages that they claim zero responsibility for after dealing with their customer complaint department. Some of the items damaged are cosmetic or cheap enough to not care that much about but the point shows the lack of care involved See images of the dented door side and front on the fridge as well as the house storm door broken while they attempted to jam the fridge through the front door for half an hour before my wife mentioned they might have to take the door off. The curved LCD TV however, is beyond usable or cosmetic and a complete loss. We spent a week back and forth with their claims department before they finally told us they weren’t going to do anything about it. So what in the past has cost us around 400 to 500 dollars per move is now more like 2000 dollars.
If you have items you care about, definitely move them yourself or look elsewhere.
The dark haired lady who works here should be retrained or fired, it’s simple can’t do the job find one you can handle. Time and time again she sends me away unable to mail to simple addresses. I return later when the very competent short haired lady is working and she does her job with excellence, she never has trouble mailing packages the other lady is incapable of shipping. It’s cost me a lot of time and money, to the point I’m about ready to shell out the added 15$/ package to ship with ups or anyone competent.
