Judy at Mountain Valley Express was not very friendly. Simply shipping a pair of shoes seemed like an inconvenience. I will continue going to Dickinson courier office where the staff is more than willing to help and offer advice. Typical government work I guess.
Mountain Valley Express is extremely professional, on time, and cautious with how they move the items. We ended up using their service twice in one week, and plan to continue to use them for future moves.
Chandler at Mountain Valley Express was over the top accommodating at the last minute!! He even went above and beyond providing me with a possibility to get yard signs printed!! Definitely Customer Service oriented to the whole place. Everyone Helpful!!
Overnight parking at Mountain Valley Express. Loading was quick and loading guy was friendly. I’m giving 3 stars because paperwork time is 2 hours. So once you get loading, park truck in parking lot and wait for paperwork in truck.
I’m glad I called Mountain Valley Express. They’re a new company and honest people who provide excellent services. My quote was the best I received compared to other companies. Edna came to my apartment in NYC and did the on-site and my items arrived to Dallas Texas on the same day promised. The movers did a great job. I highly recommend MOUNTAIN VALLEY EXPRESS to anyone looking for an out of state move.
I was incredibly disappointed with Mountain Valley Express service. On the plus side, the movers were all very kind and respectful, and they were able to come out and move my entire household within a week. However, the guys who came out to move us worked at a snail’s pace. When I moved everything myself 2 months prior, it took me a total of 4 hours. It took Mountain Valley Express’s 3 guys 8.5 hours to move only furniture, no boxes. It’s fine to work slow on your own dollar, but when it costs this much, I expect the estimated price not to go $800 more than expected. Also, they tore a hole in my wall and never addressed it, they warped my Piano, and warped a wardrobe. (Fortunately the wardrobe was fixable).
The guys put a lot of time into wrapping my furniture to protect it, which I appreciated, but when actually moving it they paid no attention to turning things in odd orientations and damaged them beyond repair. Also the guys were very unprepared and when something had to be disassembled with basic tools, they had to drive all the way back to the shop to get a screwdriver, and then again to get a fuel card.
Time is money. My advice to Mountain Valley Express is when you quote somebody for their move, stand by your quote and don’t charge your customers for your employees’ shortcomings. It is not my job to motivate your movers to move at a reasonable pace.
