Strange experience with freight forwarder. Hayley at Milgram was very friendly and helpful. Other staff not so much, and seemed rude on the phone. Overall customer service was a let down.
Final price ended up being higher than quoted price with mystery charges for cleaning (even though both cars were fully detailed prior to loading).
Some delays were unavoidable due to weather although I could not get an ETA for several days on the part which was controllable.
Invoicing by Milgram needs work, with several invoices at various points presented, unclearly itemized, and net 0 on a Friday or late in the week at 4 pm. Phone call resulted in demands for immediate cash now in New Zealand dollars or else.
No credit card accepted which really in this day and age neither practice is acceptable. Would prefer instead one final invoice at conclusion of service properly itemized. Net15 would be good, credit card payment better.
When asked about credit card was told that they are sick of customers reversing charges!
Maybe Milgram works on a cash in hand basis?
Finally VTNZ said they did not get all the clearance documents emailed through so I had to go down there with the originals anyhow (lucky I packed them in my bag for this eventuality).

Worst courier company. The female there at Milgram doesn’t have manners to talk, they don’t know the meaning of customer service. They want you to come and pickup the courier from their office or they take their own sweet time to deliver the package… Better to use the courier office service rather than this third class courier service…

Official postal service Milgram on the island only accepting cash!! Credit cards or bank transfers were not accepted. Had to run across the road and wait in a queue to withdraw money for a return parcel. Wouldn’t expect such a primitive method of payment in this day and age – let alone during a pandemic where contactless is key.
