Washer and dryer install by MH International overall was fine but there were some things ppl should look out for. The installers tried to pull a quick one over on me by attempting to keep the dryer installation kit items I paid for. When I asked if they are going to replace the hoses to the washer I was told they only have rubber hoses and the stainless steel ones currently installed are better. I know for a fact that whenever you replace a washer, you are supposed to replace the hoses.
When I asked if they are going to replace the gas supply hose I was told that the one currently installed is still good and that they were unable to remove it. They even had the audacity to tell me that the dryer vent duct had been replaced and I was looking at the old one, this supposedly old duct had zero traces of lint. They even kept the 90 degree duct connectors and told me that they didn’t have duct tape and I would need to buy some myself. They simply reinstalled the old duct vent as if I couldn’t tell the difference. Last I checked dryer ducts are installed using self tapping screws and the tape is optional. Even the stacking kit was poorly installed, one of the bases is angled and doesn’t sit flush on top of the washer.
In short be careful of unscrupulous installers. They assume that you don’t know how to do what you are paying them to do and not that you only paid for installation because you didn’t want to carry a washer and a dryer up to the 2nd floor yourself.
The crew from MH INTERNATIONAL was on time and very professional. They were very patient as we figured out where to put our furniture. They communicated consistently and was very kind. Esteban, Jorge, Tommy and Axel deserve 5 stars. Thank you for serving the military families.
