The team that packed up our house was extremely unprofessional. Two men on a five person crew were respectful, but the other three displayed an incredible lack of work ethic. One mover was even smoking a cigarette whilst loading our couch into the truck– and we can’t comment on the condition of that couch since it never actually arrived to our new home. I was astounded by the movers poor attitude, disrespect for our possessions, and raunchy jokes. When they left for lunch they left with the front door open and many of our valuable things on the front porch. Also, their lunch break was close to two hours. They tagged the inside (not the outside) of certain boxes, which complicated inventory, and never forwarded our valuable inventory paperwork to the company that moved our things across the country– therefore, I doubt any of our things were handled with care.
This was a difficult and frustrating experience.
TQL called my work for months on end, lying to various employees from salesmen to floor workers about upper management in order to extort more information about upper management (who already said no we don’t need their business when they cold called us). Then I spoke to the employee, Paul banks, multiple times about not contacting our company again – he didn’t listen.
Finally I called his manager and he assured me Paul would not contact us anymore and we were on their do not call list.
Now Paul has been stalking me on social media for the last year, all because I said no we don’t need your business because we do all our own trucking internally?
I contacted the office again and they said they talked to Paul personally about this – yet this morning I wake up to another request on LinkedIn.
DO NOT USE TQL, DONT EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONE CALL BECAUSE THEY WILL HARRASS YOU FOR YEARS TO COME.
