THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO SEND A PACKAGE, they left my package at the aduana in the Salvador, and said I have to paid more to change the name, they didn’t said anything about it before I send it, they don’t help you to get it out of the aduana! Worst company ever
We had a complex move which included temporary housing while we were looking for a final place. We used PODS to store our stuff while we sold our home, they re-delivered our POD and we finished our move, then they held the POD until we found our new house.
It was worth every penny. Get over the sticker shock you may receive when you get your estimate because the hassle was gone, the move was a breeze, and so stress free. Having a POD in our driveway allowed us to load/unload at our convenience, there was no hurry on either end. We were also able to stage our home by packing away a lot of things early, then having the POD picked up and dropped off again later to complete the move. Transport was a breeze, we packed it well and upon its return, nothing inside was damaged or had barely even moved.
The initial quote was very fair, and when all was said and done, the total bill came right in at the quoted price. No surprises. Scheduling was easy, rescheduling as we needed was also super easy, there were never any issues, not one negative aspect to this whole experience.
I am not sure I’d use PODS for a simple move from point A to point B as it may run a bit pricey. But for the complex situation we were facing, this was the perfect solution for us. Worth every penny and then some.
