Shocked by the Kalayatan Cargo failure today… Getting ready to surprise Russian client with an amazing quality Scottish wool production I ordered a tie as a birthday gift and had it sent by Kalayatan Cargo to make sure it arrives to Russia in time. So yesterday got text claiming the parcel arrived and would be delivered by courier during the day. As nothing had happened by early afternoon nor any updates were provided I gave a call to Kalayatan Cargo Russia only to find out your parcel was sent back to Scotland!!! WTF. Woman was mean and failed to explain why the heck there has not even been any update provided. So I called London head office for explanation, assuming naively, they could solve the matter. Well… no. That is a law of RU not to send to individuals from abroad. Alright. Explain why you have policies published online for sending to individuals in Russia? – No answer – why the hell you smart guys accepted the damn parcel to be delivered in first place, knowing that was impossible? – no answer. We are sorry was the only reply Kalayatan Cargo manages to squeeze out. Imagine how I shall look tomorrow at the birthday party of an important partner without gift! I am not even mentioning the funds loss I had to face cause of express Kalayatan Cargo delivery!!!! Well. The name of a company has no strength to cover that sort of things. You fail and you lose your reputation. The trust clients once put upon you has now turned to mistrust and Kalayatan Cargo has become a synonym of scum, conceited below average service provider. That is something you must be sorry about and believe me you will.
Very bad experience. Two attempts to deliver by Kalayatan Cargo, no call. The phone service was a disaster too, they couldn’t find the tracking number in their system. Huge disappointment. 0 stars would be adequate here.
I had a consignment delivered to my home this morning. It can be a difficult address to find and I am accustomed to dealing with grumpy delivery drivers. I therefore contacted the Kalayatan Cargo office at 8am to confirm the details. The lady I spoke to was polite and helpful, and the driver was patient and courteous. It was a pleasure to deal with your company. Thank you.
