I go early before the post office is open so I use the self service station all the time. The two drop off bins are ALWAYS broken and out of order. The two new self service machines are nice but they are a little more difficult to use and take double the time. Plus, at least one of the machines is also never working! The staff is always nice, but no sense of urgency. Every one moves verrrryyy slow.
UPDATE: 2 weeks later I find myself at this post office again. I went in on 12/14 and both deposit bins are STILL broken. One of the machine’s card readers is not working and the scale on the other is WAY off. I know my package was less then 1lb and yet the machine was only giving me priority prices and nothing for first class. Plus, the scale kept saying it weighed almost 2 lbs, which wasn’t the case. These issues need to be fixed, especially around this time of the year. Everything about this location is an inconvenience.
Came in to overnite a pkg and mail two others. The over night was $76 and its has been 2 days and still not delivered. The female staff member was short with everyone in line and just rude as if she was doing us all a favor by being there. Not a customer friendly atmosphere
I wanted to drop off a prepaid parcel today 9-3-19 and I arrived at exactly at 13:25 right before they close for lunch; the lady told me she was already closed even if I arrived before closing time. She won’t take me as she had a couple of customer before me. I did not find this right at all.
First time at a USPS and Triet made the experience so much better. He was very helpful, kind and most importantly very patient with me as I made several mistakes on my custom slip.
