Ben and Chris were absolutely amazing. I recommend them and if I could put a sixth star I would. Not only were they careful and considerate they were kind helpful and I feel like I’ve made two friends.

I left 3 packages at the designated area for prepaid labeled packages. They were not scanned in with tracking information so I went back to find out what was going on. The clerk told me they don’t scan the packages at that facility during the holidays and I may not get tracking info at all. What???? So I guess we can’t trust leaving prepaid labeled packages at the designate counter with signage assuring us we can. The clerk advised me to stand in the line next time to make sure they are scanned. Wow. Also the guy in front of me was there to get the manager’s name because he had paid for two day service and his package sat here for two days before it was even sent out. No accountability here whatsoever. Beware.

****This company is NOT I REPEAT NOT REGISTERED WITH THE BBB, FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (MUST BE TO BE CONSIDERED A REGISTERED/CERTIFIED MOVING COMPANY), NOT LICENSED BY THE GEORGIA DEPT OF SAFETY AS A HOUSEHOLD GOODS TRANSPORTER (MOVER), THE GEORGIA CONSUMERS PROTECTION DIVISION, THE USDOT, NOR THE GA MOVERS ASSOCIATION!****
RUN DO NOT HIRE, I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! GO TO FMCSA TO FIND A REGISTERED, REPUTABLE COMPANY AND DOUBLE CHECK ON THE GA DEPT OF SAFETY WEBSITE
I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE 1000 STARS IF I COULD
I hired estate property movers for a 1 bedroom apartment move from IN ATLANTA GA(1.1 miles total). I was quoted for 130/hr with a 2-hour min with a start time of 12p-2p on a Friday. On Saturday, the movers did not come to the apartment until 630pm with 2 movers, 2 small dollies, and a large box to move items ***IN A U-HAUL***. When movers came, they did not come up to apt with equipment and did not start moving items until 7 pm. During the move, I was asked where my boyfriend was (unprofessional), I proceeded to give movers water bottles while they moved. Items to be moved were 1 couch, 1 bed with frame, 2 small unmounted TVs, 3-floor mirrors, unmounted electric fireplace, small dining table with 2 chairs, 2 barstools, 3 large boxes, 6 medium/small boxes, and 8-10 contractor bags. Movers did not leave 1st apt until about 950p-10p, did not arrive at the next apt until 1055pm, and were told that they would be stopping for food. Movers came up at 1107pm and I did not see them again until 1159p. Around 1a, i was told that they locked keys in the truck and had to call the locksmith, during that time only 1 mover was putting the bed frame together, and unknown where the other mover was at and did not complete job until 330am. At that time 2 men were insinuating and persistent in asking me for a tip (woman alone in apt with unknown men in the middle of the night). I went to pick up a water bottle the day after the move, which i was mistaken to be mine but turned out to be the movers that was filled with vodka previously and had about 2-3 sips left. Move purposely took 9 hours by movers for compensation when the amount moved did not warrant 9 hours of work, movers were also extremely slow and intoxicated while being in my home in the middle of the night. I received an invoice for roughly $1105 for a partial 1 bedroom apt move to another apt that was less than 5 minutes away from the original apartment. THIS MOVE SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN NO MORE THAN 4 HOURS. I have filed complaints with the BBB and GA DEPT OF SAFETY while working with the head of the department, Sgt. Jones to have this company investigated and hopefully SHUT DOWN.
OWNER HAS STATED IN BBB RESPONSE THAT HIS COMPANY HAS LESS THAN 1% dissatisfaction WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE. HE ALSO SAID THAT IF MOVERS WERE INTOXICATED, HOW COULD THEY MOVE ITEMS WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING? I have kept the vodka filled water bottle as evidence for DNA/fingerprint analysis in case this goes further. They will not see another red cent out of me!
As you can see in photos, there are not enough items to account for why a move would take 9 hours, especially a move that is 0.9 miles away from the original location. Do not hire Ty Taylor and his fraudulent company!
DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS COMPANY!

My experience with Maison Moving was awesome! They were very helpful and responsive with helping me book a move last minute. They are courteous, professional, friendly, fun, and very helpful. Francisco and Mario were really great movers who helped my move go very smoothly and efficiently. I will definitely recommend and use Maison Moving again in the future!
