    We had the worst experience ordering a wall bed and having it delivered by Robert Transport. Ordering was easy, but then came time for delivery.
    These people at Robert Transport are by far the worst people to deal with. Our delivery was schedule for Tuesday between 9-1pm. I called Robert transport to request assistance with the delivery and the girl on the phone (who was so rude) told me she would put 2 delivery guys on the job. She was annoyed that this had to be done and told me Costco should’ve handled this for me.
    The day of the delivery I decided to call Roberts AGAIN to confirm that 2 men would be on the job. Again, the customer service rep was so rude to me. She rushed me off the phone and told me that 2 men would carry the pieces inside. In no way did she specify that this only meant within the front door. We’ve had so many nightmares ordering pieces to downtown Toronto because no one seems to want to deal with the hassle. I’ve been living here for a number of years so I know to double, triple and quadruple check with companies to ensure we won’t have an issue with delivery.
    THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. Not only did the delivery guy show up at 1:45pm (45 minutes past the 4 hour window), but he was alone and said he would not be able to help us carry these pieces inside. He could only leave them at the front door. It was pouring rain and I had to leave for work because I purposely booked clients after the expected delivery window.
    I called Roberts and the woman on the phone said it was against company policy for the guy to bring these pieces in my home. She also said I had to wait because a second delivery guy was en route to help. So we’d have to wait in the pouring rain for another driver to arrive, which would go even further passed the 4 hour window.
    When I told her the customer service rep told me they would help carry the pieces inside, she said, by bringing the pieces inside we mean just at the front door. I was beyond livid at this point and asked her if she could see how this verbiage is confusing to the consumer. She said I was absolutely right and the woman should’ve made this clear, but there was nothing they could do. Please understand that if we could have someone deliver furniture within the front door we would, but our place is structured so that as soon as you open the door there are stairs leading up to the main floor. We do not have a front entrance way which is why I ALWAYS follow-up with delivery companies to ensure they would assist us. I had to leave for work so my fiance was left to carry up 5 boxes which weighed between 75-100lbs by himself.
    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE never deal with the delivery company Roberts Transport. They have terrible customer service!!!!
