BAD MANAGER. I came to this UPS store to drop off a book to be laminated and bound, the man at the front desk said I needed to pay in full for it upfront. I was fine with that and he charged me 27 dollars. I was not told how much each page was and had never used their services before, so didnt know if that was expensive or not. I called the next day to pick it up and they said I had a balance of $80. I asked to speak with the manager and she informed me that the employee had rung me up incorrectly. I explained to her that I may have brought the book elsewhere and that I was uninformed that it would be that expensive. She basically told me it was already made and had to pay to get it. I understand there was a mistake made, and I would have gladly paid the full amount had she been apologetic. She did give me a slight discount but with a very bad attitude and no credit for their mistake. We paid what was needed but will never return. Go to the FedEx next door, their manager is excellent, and they are cheaper!
Also…they bound the book entirely wrong…I will write to UPS corporate office and complain. A world wide company should have a better idea of what a store manager should be. They respond nicely to positive reviews and just excuse themselves however they can when someone leaves a negative one. No idea of responsibility…I may be the only one who hasn’t had to send a receipt.One positive thing was that the other manager, a man (Estevan?) shipped our book for free when we brought it back after getting it fixed elsewhere…Now that’s customer service! Thank you…you deserve more than one star and should move to UPS on Zefarano!
We have used Upack twice now for cross country moves (Florida to California, then California back to Florida) and Pack-rat once, Upack is by far superior in all areas. The Orange California facility is very professional and easy to load/unload the pod. Excellent communication from Upack which makes a very stressful event run smoothly vs. zero communication from Pack-rat. On both occasions using Upack we used professional movers to load and unload our pod at the Upack facility. Pod arrived exactly when promised and in excellent condition, would definitely use again and highly recommend.
Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. The owner Steve runs a very organized store and has helped us with both receiving packages as well as sending out. It is a pleasure walking into the store and no matter how busy you will always receive a greeting!
