    Expensive
    And misguided me on time of delivery
    My goods reached destination after 8 days
    And attitude of the person at delivery and receiving office is not welcoming

    I have ordered books from Pacific bookstore and having my books delivered for years without issue.
    This year, however, is the worst. AirPak courier service that they use is absolutely unreliable.
    My scheduled delivery was 27/12 9am-2pm.
    I took leave to wait for my books, till 1pm there is no sign of delivery and i have to call the help desk. The help desk is non-helpful (irony) and gave standard excuses that they are experiencing heavy volume of deliveries. I challenged that this is not a valid reason since they should already know their number of deliveries for the day at the very start of the day and they should inform customer earlier so that we can plan our time around it. Finally, after 2 calls the helpdesk secured a 5pm-7pm delivery window and promised that books will be deliver by end of day. We waited until 9pm and no books still, worst still the helpdesk is no longer picking up the phone. At 9:30pm, i have an SMS giving the same excuse about heavy volume and my delivery will be made the next day, and they gave me their supervisor number to call. i tried calling at least 10x through various means but there was no pickup. Next morning at around 5:30am i got a text from the supervisor quoting the exact same excuse about heavy volume they are experiencing, and i again challenge him that this is not valid at all. He promised to put priority on my delivery today, and after many texts and call to CS, I get a new commit for delivery before 11:30am. As expected, this commit was missed again. Another round of calls made to CS and the driver’s supervisor. Finally delivered by 1:20pm.
    Just wasted 2 days of leave waiting for your delivery. Pls think twice before engaging Airpak.

    StarTrack was supposed to deliver a few parcels to me today. The driver came and just left the card in the letterbox without even attempting to press the doorbell! which is located right on top of the letterbox. Someone was home today and we were waiting for the parcel. Such a lazy driver! And now we have to take the trouble of getting off work early to go pick up the parcel that could be delivered to our house!

    The PO is run by the Community Shop, they are very friendly and helpful but without the shop there would be no PO – so please support the shop as well!
