I waited 45 minutes to deliver a box, the owners to save money have just one employee working, in the meantime the line is so long that people are leaving the store tired of waiting. At the end, they wanted to charge me $180.00, when the USPS charge $75.00.
Ordered a mattress on August 27, 2020. It was shipped from Utah the following Day and arrived in Ellenwood, Ga on Aug 31st.
From September 1st it was in the system as ‘in transit Norcross, GA’ until September 6th. There were no entries on the 7th or 8th.
On the 9th FedEx msg said the delivery would take place that day. It did not and later that evening this msg was removed.
On 9/11 FedEx said the mattress was on the vehicle and would be delivered by end of business day.
It was not delivered.
So twice FedEx has lied in their messaging.
I spoke to 2 FedEx employees during this 2nd week. Both said they were backed up.
Sunday, September 13 the ‘on vehicle for delivery by end of next business day’ has once again appeared.
One FedEx employee snapped at me when I suggested FedEx was poorly managed. Really? If this sort of thing happens from time to time as she suggested, why aren’t their forecasters on top of it before things get backed up?
Or, why doesn’t FedEx use employees from their retail stores to form a Swat team(s) of sorts that can be called upon to unload trucks, scan, sort, and load the delivery vehicles when things are backing up. Pull the employees from multiple stores to build the team. One per store.
Let’s review:
3 days to Georgia,
13 days in Norcross,
2 untrustworthy ‘to be delivered by messages’,
2 less than helpful employees.
Finally delivered Monday 9/14.
I give FedEx ZERO stars.
What’s going on Mr. Smith?
