hello, I have Belgian truck driver license and looking for work.
Never update shipping online. Customer service is awful. I stop online shopping from companies that use OnTrac. That’s how bad they are.
I wrote a five star review the day we moved with Homegrown. The guys were great. I didn’t anticipate coming across so many broken items as we unpacked. We’ve never experienced this before. A chair was broken in the move. It was brand new, and we paid $180 for it. They gave us $100 off the bill to accommodate for that. Fair enough because we accepted it. But then we found wheels broken off a file cabinet, and our dresser has a large dent in it so deep that we are afraid to touch it or move it. If we do, the dresser will be virtually useless. Other smaller things damaged here and there.
I think this may be an anomaly for this company. The movers themselves were great. Our first point of contact was great. And we thought the move was great. Until we started looking at things.
Don’t take this review as the only review of this company. I think/hope what we experienced was unusual. Still, we must post an honest review. Check your items closely before the movers leave the premises.
If you have small packages you are allowed to just walk in and leave it in box. Because people have access to their p.o boxes. So it is really nice and convenient that I don’t have to wait til 9 when they would normally open like I would have to at other locations. Love this place!
