Awful, awful, awful. I’ve had literally dozens of things lost in the mail, from concert tickets to wedding invitations to anniversary gifts to Christmas gifts, and no one is held responsible. Switched my Amazon default address to my wife’s work because I cannot rely on my local post office. After about two years, I switched back over to my home address, and the first expensive package I ordered disappeared never to be found again. No one can be held accountable, my item just disappeared. Switched default shipping address back to my wife’s work. This has been a MAJOR problem for years and there’s no indication that anything is going to change for the better any time soon.

Overcharged for stamps. Wife also wanted to tape a small package for a return. They made her buy a new roll of tape which was totally fine with us. However, the problem was a guy right behind her needed tape and the clerk taped it up for free, literally right in front of us.

What is going on? Lost mail, pieces of sent mail returned in a plastic bag, sent mail taking forever to reach destination ( one received a month later). I also sent my grandson money for his birthday and it never made it. I know I should not have sent cash but I also don’t expect the postal service to have employees who steal. Why can’t the postal service be run more efficiently? I guess the answer is because it is a government agency and no one really cares or is held responsible.
