Pauline from DC Logistics is awesome however Sammy and Angie are so rude and nasty and point blank lie. If Pauline was there I would have gotten my package. I submitted a change of address and wasn’t able to get my package because they were too lazy!! Put it on the truck anyway after told to come back at 3pm that they would leave it there seeing how I couldn’t make it to my old address! NASTY AND RUDE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with DC LOGISTICS.
I have had 8 interstate moves with my career over the years and have never seen anything like this…. I hired DC Logistics to move my elderly father from Delaware to Florida. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a moving company or with any service company for that matter. Not following the schedule was the first issue, we got a call weeks before we were ready from a driver saying he was two hours away, this same driver was the one sent on the scheduled day, he was the worst…. The driver showed up and immediately said it would be double the amount quoted, even though each and every individual item was scheduled on the estimate (there were only around 60 items total moving). He stated he drinks with the owner so he can do what he likes. As the driver was finishing loading and after we paid the 50% check to him, he disclosed he had a queen sized mattress and box spring in the condominium hallway that would not be loaded unless he was given $100 cash (started with $300). I wasn’t there or this would not have been paid. When we complained to Desmond, in the DC Logistics office, he said that shouldn’t have happened, and he would refund the $100 via Venmo, never happened. Here we are, more than 6 weeks later and can’t get a date, update or any communication from DC LOGISTICS. There’s a reason they are rated a D+ on the Better Business Bureau. Steer clear!
This review mainly goes out to Renee who works at DC Logistics. She just helped me and my sister figure out how to print on some really heavy paper and went above and beyond to help us. She was very kind and helpful. She was even nice and helpful to a disrespectful maskless man who was coughing in her face. This woman from dc logistics deserves a raise!
