    THE MOVE FROM HELL!!!
    I was scheduled for a move on the day that my lease was to expire. According to Jimmy (I think he’s the owner or supervisor at Custom Courier) movers were supposed to be there between 8am and 9am. I received a call after 9 from one of the movers that he would be at my location in about 25 minutes. He finally came around 10am, but was alone. I asked was he moving my things by himself and he said that another guy was on the way. I met him at the gate of my apartments and when he parked his trailer he ripped the top part of the carport! After seeing that, I was a bit leery of him moving my things. Anyway he came to my apartment, looked at my things and then went back outside to wait on his partner, so I thought. I went downstairs to put some things in my car only to find out he had left. Hmm, maybe he went to meet his partner, NOPE HE WAS GONE! I called his number a couple of times just to see where he was and what time he would return, NO ANSWER! I called the main CUSTOM COURIER office and guess what, NO ANSWER! I left a message and then tried texting the guy to see if he would respond that way, CRICKETS! The guy at the main office FINALLY calls me back and was surprised that I hadn’t been moved yet. I told him what happened and he said he would try to call him to see where he was and what happened, then he would call me back. Guess what? No call back! I called him back after waiting 30 minutes and he told me he still hadn’t heard from the guy(s). Mind you, I have to turn in my keys to my apartments because MY LEASE IS UP! By this time it’s almost 2pm so I told Jimmy that I would talk to the manager of my apartments to see if they would allow me to stay 1 more day, but he stated that if not, CUSTOM COURIER wouldn’t be able to pay any fees that the apartments would charge me for staying another day even though it was their fault! They allowed me to stay, but HAD to turn in my keys by the time the office opened the next morning, oh and I told them about the carport. My daughter left her job and she and I loaded both of our cars and made 3 different trips to try and get some of my things moved and mind you, I live on the 3rd floor and moved to a 2nd floor apartment. This is why I got movers so that I wouldn’t have to move my own things! Jimmy apologized and said he would have some guys move me early the next morning. Two guys did come out which were super fast and friendly! They were great, but nothing was offered to me for compensation or my anguish for what I had to endure except an apology! RUN AND I MEAN RUN FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY, IT’S NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND DISAPPOINTMENT NO MATTER WHAT THE COST!!!
