    I had the displeasure on December 16, 2015 of hiring the moving services of Jakes moving. It all starts by the Manager John lying about the efficiency of staff costing etc. on the day of the move a smaller inadequeate rental vehicle sent to do the job, which automatically drives up your cost, as your contract is estimated on an hourly rate, the staff appears to be moving efficiently while dragging the work to extend the hourly cost. I would not recommend this Company to anyone and also not to be fooled by the Manager’s hypnotic sales pitch. as that seems to be the only good thing about Jake’s moving

    1 package out of 100 they send a notice and they never answer their phones. This makes it extremely difficult to coordinate timelines.

    I ordered 2 nightstands from Ashley at the same time that were supposed to be to me before or on 8/2. One of them came on yesterday(8/3) but no delivery information was available for the 2nd one! Please keep in mind they arrived at the Ellenwood, Ga. location on Sunday 8/1. I called customer service(which are of no help at all) & they opened a so called claim & told me basically the same thing as the automated system did! I got an email at 7:01am this morning stating my package was out for delivery. Which gave me a sigh of relief thinking it would be here around 12:30 or so just as the other one on yesterday. But to only to be disappointed when I received another email at 10:59am stating the delivery has been updated to tomorrow by end of day! Why? What changed? Customer service can’t tell me anything & opened another so called claim & asked me to write down the claim # which is the same exact number from yesterday! The system states I can choose to pick it up but it won’t be available for pick up until tomorrow! I don’t know who dropped the ball on this but it’s very unacceptable & poor customer service! I’ve been waiting around to get my package because the weather forecast predicts rain on & off so of course I don’t want my Package to get ruined!

    The 4 gentlemen showed up on time, they were friendly and curtious. All our furniture was wrapped and transported without damaging the house or our belongings. All furniture was disassembled and reassembled. It was an easy move and the price was reasonable. Thanks for all your hard work guys,I will definitely recommend your company to friends and use you again.

    We used upack to move from Rochester to Atlanta . The entire process was incredibly smooth and everything arrived in a timely fashion.
