EDIT: Third package also had issues with British Airways. After confirming they would call me upon delivery, I wait at home. All of a sudden I get the e-mail saying it has been delivered. Curious to me since I am sitting at home with no delivery. I walk out of my apartment and find my package sitting at someone else’s door. The reason I had to take a day off work before was because apparently they couldn’t leave packages unattended in apartment buildings. Then they did. So inconsistent. Furthermore, when they messaged back on this review they can’t even get my name right and all of the responses are copy and paste. But yes, the broken package was returned (through Canada Post), and I got a full refund, because Amazon and Canada Post know how to do their jobs.
Some staff are helpful but the service is super inconsistent. I have now received three orders from Amazon though them. The first one I did not get any e-mail about the delivery being on its way with the timing. My friend said she got one with her order so I was expecting one. But, without one I missed my delivery. When I spoke to staff about how to get it, the woman on the phone was very rude and eventually after getting nowhere I hung up. I called back and was able to get my phone number added to my packages so they could call me when they got to my building so I didn’t miss yet another delivery attempt. With companies like Purolator or Canada Post missed deliveries are no problem, I just get them from down the road. This company I would have to drive an hour. Finally I get package 1, the contents are okay. After another hassle with package two it finally arrives (I had to take an afternoon off work) and the contents inside are broken and the box is damaged. The third delivery I get a notice that it will be delivered in the next few hours, I sit in my apartment and wait, several hours later I get a notice that delivery attempt was made but no one was home…they did not call me. I called again and confirmed that my number should be contacted when it is at my door. Hopefully it arrives without issue. I wish Amazon would stop using them. In about five years of ordering off Amazon I have only had issues in the last two months and all have been with this company.
Very bad service, British Airways staff are always unhelpful and very unapproachable. I don’t know why these people are allowed to keep their jobs. Packages rarely get delivered when tracking says they have been attempted. Staff blatantly admitted that they don’t ring doorbells or knock, they just mark packages as attempted. When you track your package and say it’s in the depot for days, you don’t get a docket and they will insist that they don’t have it and it’s somewhere else. I have missed birthday presents and equipment I need for work because of their laziness and delay they constantly cause. AN POST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PEOPLE PLEASE!!!
