    TL;DR go with any other moving company, or even U-Haul, before OO movers.They will ditch you on one of your most stressful days and try to price gouge you when you’re backed up against a wall with no other options.
    Moving is often listed as one of life’s most stressful events, so why not ease the burden and book some movers? That’s what we did, and unfortunately for us we chose OO Movers.
    We woke up on the last day of the month looking forward to an easy apartment swap, leaving the heavy lifting to the professionals who were booked to arrive at 9am. To our dismay, we had received an email overnight saying that our moving crew had been cancelled, and that the backup crew would come between 1pm and 3pm. We absolutely had to be out of the apartment by noon per the landlord. We jumped out of bed, moved all of our things to the lobby with the last minute help of our close friends who really came through for us, and then began the slow process of moving the things that would fit in my car to the new place, carful by carful.
    Long story short, despite trying to get in touch with the movers throughout the day to get a more accurate ETA, these guys didn’t show up until 8pm. By this point, we had moved 85% of our things and only really needed the truck to move a couple big ticket items that wouldn’t fit in the car (couch, mattress, and dresser).
    Get this, after arriving almost 12 hours late, after we’d moved most of our things ourselves, and after our things had been in the lobby of our building all day, they had the audacity to try to charge us a 4 hour minimum of almost $700! We were able to talk them down from that absurd price, but at this point anything more than $10 felt like a rip off. They moved our things quickly enough, but did not have any plastic wrap or other equipment.
    Please, learn from our experience and do not choose this company. They will ditch you on one of your most stressful days and try to price gouge you when you’re backed up against a wall with no other options. Move on to any other company.

    We moved a family member from Southern Michigan to the East side of Metro Detroit and my sister and I were so thrilled with the professionalism and quaility of service this company provided for my family. It was a really long day-14 hours of traveling and moving! They were on time, kind, professional and really wrapped up my dad’s collectables and furniture where not one item was scratched! They knew how to place the furniture in the rooms too! You could tell they knew what they were doing! Thank-you to Shaun (spelling?), 2 Chris’s and 2 Mike’s for all of your hard work. It was great meeting and working with all of you!

    I needed new mailbox keys and I was told I had to bring a lease. I told her I owned my home then she pauses with a blank stare and says wow I don’t know what they want you to do then. Then she says I have to have my deed (which has my Maiden name on it because I’m married now .) My friend went there a few weeks ago and gave them her address and they bought her her keys in two weeks. No lease, no deed.
