   Broken brand new oven (still in unopened box). When moving it out of my garage one of the removalists was crab walking the box on it’s corners and dropped one corner from a half foot plus (mightn’t sound like much, but a glass front oven in a clearly marked box stating handle with care). I have no idea whether this did the damage or subsequent movements may have however when wheeling it off truck into new house there was the unmistakable and unmissable noise of shattered glass rolling around inside the box. Removalist admitted there was no shattered glass noise when moving it at the original location and his justification was that maybe there had been a hairline crack/fault in the first place and the move had caused it to shatter … Hmmmmmm!! Spoke to the boss who wouldn’t take any responsibility or compensate in any way. He had a very defensive ‘deny at all cost’ attitude. Apparently because it was in a box (even a brand new unopened box) I couldn’t prove it wasn’t already damaged. Also apparently no shattered glass noise at the start location then an unmissable shattered glass noise at the end location proves absolutely nothing….

   Wayne is very good at embellishing the truth, there was absolutely no threat made as I am not that kind of person. I simply advised him that I would be leaving them a negative review, which is something people do when they have a bad experience with a business, in much the same way people leave good reviews when they experience a good level of service from a business. The experience I had with Brisbane Removalists was nothing short of woeful and I would suggest anyone looking to use them to relocate delicate items or breakables consider looking elsewhere as my experience was they do not move the boxes with care and they certainly do not come to the party when something is broken. Also embellished was Wayne’s comment about the oven being moved many times prior to us moving it. It was delivered directly from the manufacturer to the property where they collected it from, it most certainly had not been moved many times before. I also NEVER made the comment Just do an Insurance claim and have them pay for it. This is an outright lie and demonstrates the questionable character of the owner of this business. I questioned why damage done by one of his movers was not covered under their insurance and indicated if it wasn’t, as they claim, then they should be compensating me accordingly.

   Noosa Van Lines made my two moves extremely easy and trouble free. Nothing was too much trouble and the guys were friendly and professional. Thanks for making the ordeal of moving such a breeze!

   The staff at VRL Goods Movers and Packers Delhi are polite. The packing is safe and the unloading is perfect. I had a really good experience with them and would highly recommend them to my friends!
