Looks like I had the same experience as Paul did in the reviews. Regardless of whether or not Nancy/Kathy lost my package an employee should never raise their voice and talk to a costumer in such a condescending manner. I have never in my life been chewed out for something that was in their hands. They most likely lost my package and clearly did not want to accept that fact and tried to put the blame on me. Long story short is the fedex guy who picked up here made a new label for my package because the original label didn’t work. When I asked for the receipt so I could track it I was told “we have a new guy working here and he didn’t get one”. So I guess somehow that’s my fault and reason to yell at me. All I can say is karma is real and judging by your character and the way this situation was handled I am almost sure you misplaced my package and just don’t want to own up to it.
I have used Two Men & a Truck on two previous occasions in the past few years and have had very positive results. This last move was very different. The estimate I received seemed a little high for the amount of items being moved but it was just an estimate. The movers arrived on time at 10:00 AM as scheduled. When I called to check on the status of the move at 10:45, I was told that the the movers were updating the estimate and the paperwork had to be redone. So almost an hour in, and no moving was taking place. Once the move was completed and I was presented the final invoice. I felt I was being overbilled by 1 hour asked the moving crew to have their main office contact me prior to billing the credit card I had used to pay the deposit for the move. He said he would. He then called his manager an told him to bill the card I had on file with out discussing my concern and having the manager contact me. I eventually was put in contact with the manager and was told the card would not be charged, and that the office would call me prior to billing the card to discuss the invoice. No call ever came and the card was charged. My text and email s were not returned and as of this review, no attempts to contact me have been made.
Something has changed with this moving company in the past year, management, ownership. This is not the way they use to do business. This was my third and last time to use Two Men & A Truck in Wilmington, NC and my last time to refer friends and clients to their services. When management will not address issues with the customers, ignore their concerns and lie to them to pacify them for the moment, I cannot trust them to treat others differently than they treated me. And you should’nt either.
