I booked a month ahead of time and I was promised the best rate and confirmed they would pick up on the day I requested. I called them several times up to my move date and each time they told me not to worry that my date is reserved. Two days before my move I was contacted to be notified they could not move me on the day I scheduled. They said it was a mistake and I should have been given date ranges. Obviously I was furious and had to use a vacation day to meet them on a day I did not schedule.
They showed up and tried to charge me $800 more than their quote. I was not adding additional items and there was no reason for this other than they are dishonest and greedy. We had a stand off for over a hour where the mover said “I don’t want to do this job”. Finally after standing my ground and arguing with the movers and calling to talk to a manager they loaded it and it all fit!
I moved from Texas to California. I was told it would be 4-7 days. It’s been 18 so far and after calls to them, emails and claims on their website my stuff is still missing. No one has called me or contacted me.
So now I’ve started a new job in a new location 4 states away with no furniture, clothes and kitchen utilities to eat for 18 days and counting!
I was warned about this company by other companies but they assured me there would be no issues. It’s been a f*!#ing nightmare.
Now here I sit in an empty house wondering if they stole my stuff. if they do deliver, I already expect this company from he!! Has broken my things. I can’t wait to see what kind of up-charge they will try if they actually show up!
